Austin Makeup Artist for CommercialDavid Price, an incredible photographer I’ve been working with, came to me with this wild and creative idea – a zombie arm rising from the dead for some tasty morsels! I was immediately excited to bring his vision to life. After weeks of planning and a series of reference images, the day finally arrived!

Once I met the model and food prep artist, I began transforming Alyse’s arm. I started with a base of Wolfe FX paints, blending greens, whites, blues and greys to create a rich, decayed tone. Then came the fun part, painting veins and layering depth with darker greys, blacks, deep purples and blues using body paint and eyeshadow pigments from Viseart, Mehron and more Wolfe FX paint. After finishing the details, I applied the press on nails, and voila!

I am so proud of how it turned out. Alyse was an absolute champ during the process, and a huge thanks to David, Marcela and Mary Helen for their patience while I added those last finishing touches I am completely in love with the final results!
