I was at Nordstrom with a friend, picking out wardrobe for an upcoming photo shoot, when she mentioned wanting to try a foundation an influencer had been raving about. She asked for my help with shade matching, so we headed to the Charlotte Tilbury counter. Once the makeup artist applied it, the finish looked dry, chalky, and heavy with shimmer – not the radiant glow she was hoping for.

I suggested we check out Armani instead, and on the way I noticed a new product I wasn’t familiar with. After removing the first foundation and prepped her skin with moisturizer, we tested the Armani Skin Tint Longwear & Care. The result was gorgeous – her skin looked fresh and natural, with that golden-hour glow everyone loves.

This is why I always remind people to be cautious with influencer recommendations. You never know what lighting, filters, or extra products they’re using behind the scenes. The best way to find what works is in person – and keep in mind that everyone’s skin is different.

The Armani Skin Tint really impressed me: 24-hour hydration, buildable coverage, a weightless feel and ingredients like Vitamin C, White Lily and Hyaluronic Acid to plump, smooth and brighten the skin over time. It also helps blur redness and dark spots, while still letting skin look like skin.

To fiish the look, I suggested the YSL All Hours Concealer (a personal favorite of mine!) and the Laura Mercier Translucent Loose Talc-Free Setting Powder in Ultra Blur – because even if you want a raidant finish, makeup still needs to be set if you plan to wear it all day, especially in Austin’s heat and humidity. She left with products she truly loved and a flawless, long-lasting finish.
